ShedNet Checkers was written in Visual Basic 6.0, and, like all Visual Basic programs, requires the presence of several runtime libraries. If you have a newer version of Windows, there is a very good chance that you will already have these files. But if you have any problems (like the program telling you that it can't find certain files at start up), try downloading the zip file given below and copying the contents into either the program directory, or your windows folder. The total size of the download is 1.2 MB, but once you download it, you'll be able to run any program written in Visual Basic.
